History, culture & hidden corners
Athens is more than the Acropolis. It's a living city where ancient ruins sit beside rooftop bars, and where every neighborhood tells a different story.
This private experience takes you beyond the tourist trail — through the quiet streets of Anafiotika, the vibrant energy of Psyrri, and the timeless elegance of Kolonaki. The day is shaped around your interests, whether that's archaeology, food, architecture, or simply getting lost in the city's rhythm.
We move at your pace, stop where you're curious, and skip what doesn't interest you. This is Athens, designed around you.

About private Athens tours
Athens is a city of nearly four million people built around a single sacred rock. The Acropolis has been continuously occupied for at least five thousand years, and the buildings on top of it — the Parthenon, the Erechtheion, the Temple of Athena Nike — define what we mean by classical architecture. Half the world's columns are descended from these.
The half-day private experience is designed for guests with limited time, or those who want a calm introduction before deciding what else to see. We collect you from your hotel, drive to the Acropolis at the time of day when the queues are shortest, walk through the Parthenon and the Theatre of Dionysos, and continue down through Plaka and Anafiotika — the small Cycladic-style neighbourhood built into the north slope of the rock by 19th-century settlers from Anafi.
Where most group tours stop is exactly where private tours begin to be useful. We can extend into the Acropolis Museum (one of the best modern museums in Europe), the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Panathenaic Stadium (the only stadium in the world built entirely of marble), or simply a long Greek coffee in a quiet square in Kolonaki. The day belongs to you.
Half-day Athens experiences run four to five hours. They include the private vehicle and English-speaking driver, hotel pickup and drop-off, on-board Wi-Fi and water, and a small Greek farewell gift. Acropolis tickets and any optional licensed-guide fees are paid separately on the day, transparently and without mark-up.
