A deeper two-day exploration
This journey allows the Peloponnese to reveal itself gradually — through its history, its coastal beauty, and its quieter moments.
Day one takes you through the Corinth Canal, Epidaurus, and into Nafplio for an overnight stay. Day two begins with Mycenae before a scenic return to Athens.
Some places deserve more than a single day.

About the 2-day Peloponnese journey
The eastern Peloponnese — Corinth, Epidaurus, Nafplio, Mycenae — is best taken across two days rather than one. The single-day version works, but the magic of Nafplio is its evening: the harbour lit at sunset, the Bourtzi castle on its small island, the locals taking their evening walk along the waterfront. Returning to Athens before any of that is a small loss every guest feels.
The two-day private journey leaves Athens after breakfast on day one. The Corinth Canal, Epidaurus theatre, then a slow descent into Nafplio for the late afternoon. We check you into a small boutique hotel in the old town — one we've selected for character rather than rating — and the evening is yours. Most guests walk the waterfront, climb the steps to the Palamidi fortress at sunset, and have dinner at one of the small fish tavernas the driver recommends.
Day two starts unhurried, with breakfast on the hotel terrace before driving to Mycenae for the morning visit. The site is far more meaningful when it isn't packed with day-trippers, and arriving from Nafplio (twenty-five minutes) means we beat the Athens coaches by a clear hour. Lunch is in the wine country (Nemea is a short detour), or back in a coastal village. We aim to be in Athens by early evening.
From €1,500 for two days, the journey includes the private vehicle and driver throughout, one night in a curated boutique hotel with breakfast, on-board Wi-Fi and water, and a small Greek farewell gift. Site tickets, lunches and dinner are paid as we go. The journey extends naturally to Olympia and the Ionian coast as a three-day version for guests with more time.

In Their Own Words
From recent guests
“We took a private trip to Delphi with Gregory. He wasn't a 'taxi' driver — he was a host to Athens and the surrounding areas. Excellent and skillful driver, knew the roads to take when there was traffic, full of knowledge of Greece. Wonderful conversations and perfect recommendations for our stops. I fully recommend him.”

Private Day Trip to Delphi
“We were lucky to engage Greg at the Athens Airport after another driver refused to take us into the city. He was personable, gave us the lowdown on Athens, and got us to our Airbnb in record time through the back streets. We used him again for a trip outside the city for seven of us — flying colors. I would contact him again in a heartbeat.”
